Shopping With Dylan
A couple of Saturdays ago Dylan and I went school clothes shopping. We shopped and shopped. He had to try on all of his jeans since he is growing like a weed. To be an 8 year old boy he did a great job. I didn't have to call him down much at all. We had a great day together.

A Late Night
It seems the earlier we tried to get in the bed to get ourselves ready for school, the later we were up. This was a very late night at our house!

Dylan had to take in pictures of his 3 favorite things to do for some writing they will be doing this year. So I thought I would share those pictures with you all.

Back to School!
As you all know Monday was the start of the school year once again. Dylan started his 3rd grade year, while Nathan started half day preschool. I was so worried that Nathan was going to have a hard time, but of course I had a harder time than he did. He didn't get to start on Monday, we still had a few loose ends to take care of. So it was Wednesday when he started. I took him in and stayed for a little while his first day, he cried like he does at therapy sometimes so after about 20 minutes i decided it would be best if I left and hopefully he would start feeling better about the situation. I made it out the front door of the school and that's when I fell apart, and I cried almost the whole way home. Momma was here watching Jordan for me that morning and Pam came by on her way to the doctor so it made the time go by faster. Soon it was time to pick my little boy up, I don't think I have been that happy in a long time. When I got there to get him, he looked happy, tired but happy. I could even see a difference in him, it's hard to explain, but it was kind of like he was a little more grown up. His teacher sends a log home everyday that tells me his mood, how he ate, how many diapers he had and what kind of activity they did that day. His mood was so-so and he got to go to music class. They said he loved watching the older kids at music. Thursday and Friday his mood was Happy! He really seems to like school and I was so thankful.
Dylan loves his teacher this year. He didn't have any homework his first day and he was so excited. He was a little disappointed that only a few girls from last year were in his class this year, but on Friday he told me that he had a new girlfriend, her name is Savannah. He has done real well getting up and getting ready for school every morning. We had a few problems with getting homework done on Tuesday and Wednesday but by Thursday he got it done fast with few mistakes.
I took pictures of both of them before school. It was actually Dylan's second day, I was so focused on Monday making sure that I didn't forget anything he needed that I forgot all about taking his picture. Oppps...
This is a big change for all of us, Jordan hasn't ate as well and has been in a some what bad mood since Thursday. It hasn't effected Dylan and Dray much. You can tell it has effected Nathan but nothing more than his sleep. Nathan had a bad day yesterday, I'm not sure if it is because he didn't go to school or if his back or his stomach was bothering him. I have been feeling like I was getting a cold since Wednesday or Thursday and yesterday I felt awful, I when back to sleep around 12:30- 1:00 and slept till 4:30. I was so afraid that I wouldn't be able to sleep last night but I was wrong I had no problem. Anyway I feel much better today my throat doesn't hurt and I'm not so sleepy, for the first time in almost a week.
I hope everyone has a great week this week!

Dylan's Party
Dylan had a great time at his birthday party. Which I think we all did. I was so tired afterward, I don't think I was the only one either. Thanks to everyone that came! Here are the pictures that I took. I didn't have a whole lot of time for picture taking, so there's not as many as there usually is.

"Love You"
Dray and Jordan were leaving to go to the store a while ago and as they were walking out the door I told Jordan "I love you" which I always do, but this time he said it back!! "Love You" he said. My heart melted! He is so precious. Here are the pictures I was talking about last week of his "Shoes" and one of him after he wrote on his face. Thank God it was a dry erase marker. =)
